It is the microbes in the pet’s fur, which create bad odours. Overcome the microbes and you overcome the smell. The physiology of dog, cat and small animal fur is very similar and the same principle applies to each animal type.

Many dogs roll in unpleasant messes: fox and deer droppings, dead fish, and rotting carcases are a few favourites. The grooming wipes are a particularly effective way of removing the gross contamination and then cleaning any residual bacteria from the coat.

Wet dog smell is caused by odour molecules attaching themselves to water particles as they radiate into the air. ByoFresh products work by eliminating the microbes at source while they are trapped against the dog’s skin.
