General Competition and Prize Draw Rules

  1. The Smell Factor Competition and Prize Draws are open to all, except:
    • employees and officers of ByoFresh, Byotrol, the retail outlets conducting the competition or other companies associated with the competition
    • their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live).
    • members of the same households (whether related or not)
    • In addition, any person closely acquainted with any person connected with the competition/draw is not eligible, if in the Chief Executive's sole discretion, the person's participation could create the appearance of impropriety.
  2. Only one entry is permitted per dog.
  3. No purchase is necessary.
  4. Entries received from persons under the age of 16 will be deemed to have received parental or guardian permission.
  5. ByoFresh reserves the right to reject any competition/draw entry.
  6. All entries made to the retail outlets will be submitted to ByoFresh.
  7. Entries that are made on line via the ByoFresh website or by post will be added to those submitted by the retail outlets.
  8. Proof of postage cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged.
  9. ByoFresh will select at random one winner per retail outlet, who will receive a winner's pack containing product with an approximate retail value of £20.
  10. From these winners ByoFresh will select one overall winner who will receive vouchers to the value of £500 to be spent in the retail outlet through which they entered plus 2 tickets to Crufts 2011 and £100 towards travel costs.
  11. All prizes must be accepted as offered. There can be no alternative awards, cash or otherwise.
  12. In the event that a prize is not available for whatever reason, ByoFresh reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  13. No correspondence can be entered into and no entry can be returned.
  14. Competition/draw entries once received by ByoFresh become the sole property ByoFresh to exploit in any media.
  15. The decision of the Chief Executive is final.
  16. ByoFresh will make reasonable efforts (in the judgement of the Chief Executive) to notify prize winners by letter, telephone, e-mail or any combination thereof prior to general publication.
  17. ByoFresh is not bound to publish the names of winners (that are not contactable), in the expectation that winners may themselves make contact.
  18. In the event that the prize has not been awarded within 12 calendar weeks of the closing/draw date then the prize will be withdrawn. At the sole discretion of the Chief Executive a new winner may be selected.
  19. Entry implies acceptance of all these rules.
